Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Pittsburgh is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer to lead a high-performing clinical team in a LTACH setting. You will partner with the CEO and HR to shape staffing, patient care quality, and staff development.

You will drive fiscal stewardship, oversee budgeting, ensure compliance with licensing, and foster a supportive culture that elevates both patient outcomes and employee engagement.

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN or equivalent Masters in Healthcare or enrollment in a Master's program required.
• Three to Five years of hospital nursing experience required; Three or more years' experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse required.
• BLS required.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• As the clinical leader for the facility, collaborate with the CEO and HR leader to tackle problems and enhance both the employee and patient experience.
• Lead with respiratory and rehabilitation departments and guide a highly skilled clinical team.
• Resolve staffing ratios and work with regional leaders on staffing initiatives and educational programs for new graduates and re-entry nurses.
• Maintain fiscal responsibility to ensure budgets are met and costs are controlled within the hospital.
• Create a supportive and engaging culture for employees and prioritize patient and employee experience.
