Job summary

Radiance Technologies, Inc. is seeking an engineering leader to serve as Chief Engineer for a missile development and production program.

You will hold final technical authority for the complete weapon system, directing system architecture, safety, and flight readiness across airframe, propulsion, guidance, and software. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, run TRBs/FRBs, and ensure risk-informed decisions align with cost and schedule.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering with MS/PhD strongly preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive engineering experience in missile/interceptor programs.
• 10+ years in chief engineering or IPT lead roles overseeing multi-disciplinary programs.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Hold final technical authority for the design, safety, and flight readiness of the complete missile system.
• Lead cross-functional TRBs and ensure system-level design integrity across disciplines.
• Oversee flight test readiness, safety reviews, and mission execution oversight at ranges.
• Advise Program Manager and mentor engineers through lifecycle milestones.
