Job summary

Radiance Technologies is seeking an engineering leader to serve as Chief Engineer for a missile development program. You will be the single point of accountability for the technical integrity, airworthiness, safety, and performance of the complete missile weapon system.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, balance complex system trades against cost and schedule, and chair technical review boards to ensure flight readiness and successful program milestones.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering; MS/PhD preferred.
• 15+ years in missile/precision-guided munition programs.
• 10+ years in chief engineering or lead systems engineering roles overseeing multidisciplinary programs.
• Full lifecycle experience from concept through design reviews, flight testing, qualification, and production.
• Active US DoD Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Single Technical Authority for the complete missile system.
• Lead system architecture and oversee cross-disciplinary design decisions.
• Chair TRBs/FRBs and approve ECPs to maintain configuration control.
• Direct system-of-systems engineering across all subsystems (airframe, propulsion, avionics, software).
• Oversee flight readiness, safety, and live-fire test readiness activities.
