You will oversee structural, thermal, vibration, and modal analyses and mentor a growing mechanical team to deliver products from concept to deployment in mission-critical settings.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of mechanical engineering experience in electromechanical products.
• Robotics, autonomous systems, unmanned or defense hardware experience.
• Strong background in structural, thermal, vibration, and modal analyses.
• Proficiency with modern CAD tools (SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA) and FEA tools.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration across mechanical, electrical, software and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and qualification of ruggedized mechanical/electromechanical systems for defense.
• Own the mechanical architecture from concept through production and field deployment.
• Perform and oversee analyses to validate designs and guide decisions.
• Drive mechanical integration with sensors, actuators, power systems, electronics and wiring.
• Develop CAD models, drawings, specs, test plans, and qualification procedures.
• Plan and execute environmental, reliability, and qualification testing.
• Lead prototype builds and iterate with manufacturing and supply chain.
• Establish DFM/DFR practices and product lifecycle management.
