Job summary

Green Key Resources seeks a Chief Mechanical Engineer to serve as the senior technical leader for mechanical engineering and product architecture. This highly hands-on role leads complex electromechanical systems from concept to deployment in mission-critical environments.

You will shape architecture and design decisions across multiple disciplines while establishing technical standards to ensure reliable products.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience in complex electromechanical systems.
• Senior technical authority experience (Chief Engineer/Technical Lead) for hardware or defense platforms.
• Experience taking hardware products from concept through testing, production, and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Act as the senior technical authority for mechanical engineering across structural, thermal, motion-control, and manufacturing disciplines.
• Lead mechanical testing, verification, validation, and qualification to meet performance, reliability, environmental, and operational requirements.
• Drive mechanical engineering execution across the full product lifecycle from concept through production and field deployment.
• Partner with leadership to set technical priorities, development plans, milestones, and timelines while maintaining strong execution.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and cross-functional teams to align technical decisions with business objectives.
• Develop and improve engineering processes, design review practices, and documentation to enable rapid development without compromising quality.
• Identify and manage technical risks, making informed tradeoffs between performance, schedule, manufacturability, and reliability.
