Job summary

Green Key Resources seeks a hands-on mechanical engineering leader to drive architecture decisions, guide system integration, and oversee the development of mission-critical defense products across structural, thermal, motion-control, and manufacturing disciplines.

You will mentor the Mechanical Engineering team, balance schedule, risk, and quality, and partner with product, operations, and leadership to ensure deliverables meet performance and reliability targets.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional engineering experience.
• 2+ years in an engineering leadership or management role.
• Experience designing electromechanical systems.
• Strong project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage the Mechanical Engineering team.
• Provide technical leadership and review complex electromechanical design decisions.
• Oversee mechanical testing, validation, and qualification activities.
• Own engineering execution from concept through deployment.
• Balance schedule, scope, and technical risk across programs.
• Partner with product, operations, and leadership to align efforts.
• Establish design reviews and documentation standards.
• Provide guidance to remove obstacles and keep programs moving.
