EPAM Systems, Inc. seeks a Chief JavaScript Full-Stack Engineer to lead the frontend and AI agent experiences across web and mobile platforms. You will set the technical vision for enterprise-grade, low-latency interfaces and streaming UX, mentoring senior engineers and aligning global teams on shared libraries.

The role requires deep frontend and Python backend skills, cloud-native REST APIs on AWS, and a proven ability to shape GenAI user experiences at scale.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in JavaScript, React, TypeScript, and modern frontend state management libraries.
• 2+ years of leadership experience guiding senior/lead engineers and driving cross-organizational strategy.
• Extensive software development background across web apps, client-side SDKs, APIs, and microservices at enterprise scale.
• Proven track record shaping GenAI user experiences, conversational UX, and real-time streaming interfaces (SSE/WebSockets).
• Strong Python backend development and cloud-native REST API integration on AWS/Docker.
• Experience defining and evolving enterprise UI component libraries and design systems.
• Advanced English (C1) with excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Establish long-term technical vision and roadmap for frontend architectures and real-time streaming platforms.
• Drive design of high-performance enterprise frontend platforms with ultra-low latency streaming.
• Build and mentor lead and principal engineers across global teams; align on shared components and standards.
• Oversee frontend interfaces, SDKs, and reference architectures for agentic experiences on web and mobile.
• Institutionalize frontend observability, WCAG/a11y, and operational excellence company-wide.
• Direct creation of reusable full-stack integration frameworks and platform capabilities for GenAI tools.
• Collaborate with executives, product, UX, and backend architects to pioneer AI copilots interactions.
