Job summary

Children's Rescue Fund seeks a VP of Information Technology to lead strategic IT initiatives across 17 sites, align technology with operational goals, and drive cybersecurity and resilience. Reporting to the COO, you will guide infrastructure modernization, data protection, and vendor partnerships while nurturing a high-performing IT team.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and experience managing IT services in a multi-site, nonprofit environment to support 500+ staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, systems administration, or IT infrastructure, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Non-profit sector experience preferred, with multi-site operations.
• Proven track record in modernizing legacy systems and managing in-house and outsourced IT solutions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and execution of the IT roadmap across 17 locations.
• Provide technical leadership on evaluating and integrating new technologies.
• Direct scalable IT infrastructure design and high-availability planning.
• Establish data backup, redundancy, disaster recovery, and security controls.
• Oversee project lifecycles, timelines, budgets, and KPI tracking.
• Design and enforce an organization-wide cybersecurity framework and compliance.
• Recruit, develop, and lead the IT team across sites.
• Manage IT budget and vendor contracts, SLAs, and ROI.
