Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a highly experienced Chief Information/Technology Officer to lead IT and digital transformation for the Regulated Utilities division. The role requires aligning IT with business strategy, managing critical enterprise applications, and driving cybersecurity and data analytics at scale.

The CIO will partner with operations, engineering, safety, and finance to optimize processes, improve customer experience, and ensure regulatory compliance across water operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 15 years of experience in information systems leadership with 5+ years in senior management.
• Experience in a regulated utility, water utility or similar operationally intensive industry preferred.
• Proven leadership in partnering with technology vendors to drive synergies at scale and speed.

Responsibilities

• Develop IT/digital strategy and roadmap aligned to Veolia North America and Regulated business.
• Oversee enterprise applications (ERP, billing/CRM, asset management) and drive standardization.
• Lead digital CX strategy including self-service portals and mobile apps for regulated customers.
• Coordinate IT/OT convergence (SCADA, PLCs) with security and regulatory compliance.
• Own IT risk, cybersecurity controls, incident response, and regulatory reporting.
