Job summary

Help at Home is seeking a Head of Information Security to lead the enterprise security program, oversee governance, risk management, and compliance across the organization, and partner with executives on security strategy.

The role combines hands-on security leadership with strategic guidance, incident response, and regulatory alignment in a rapidly growing, nationwide home-care provider.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years in information security with leadership experience.
• Hands-on leadership of security operations and risk programs.
• Strong ability to translate cyber risk for business leaders.
• Experience with SOX, HIPAA, and regulatory alignment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise security strategy, governance, and metrics.
• Direct day-to-day security operations, incident response, and vulnerability management.
• Develop security programs with third-party vendors and MSSPs.
• Oversee identity, cloud, application security, and data protection.
• Ensure secure SDLC participation and secure vendor relationships.
• Maintain AI governance policies and regulatory compliance.
• Drive SOX ITGC remediations and IT control improvements.
• Communicate risk to executives and board with clear metrics.
