Job summary

Crestline Hotels & Resorts seeks a Chief Engineer to lead the Engineering team in delivering safe, reliable hotel operations and guest satisfaction. You will oversee building, grounds, and mechanical systems with a focus on asset protection and safety, while managing vendor oversight and departmental budgets.

You will implement preventative maintenance programs, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with codes and brand standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 3 years of experience in maintenance.
• Current pool certification or the ability to obtain certification is required for properties with pool facilities.
• Hospitality experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of building maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engineering team including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluations.
• Oversee safe and efficient maintenance and operation of hotel systems and building.
• Ensure projects and preventive maintenance meet brand standards and codes.
• Prepare cost-effective proposals for system maintenance and repair.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance in rooms and public spaces with other departments.
