Key Responsibilities
Deepening Customer Relationships
- Deepen relationships with enterprise customers at the executive level, winning new business and expanding existing accounts
- Make consistency and responsiveness the foundation of daily operations, the discipline that keeps customers coming back and drives long-term loyalty
- Build the commercial infrastructure needed to support a growing base of enterprise accounts
Expanding the Revenue Base
- Grow momentum across the company's core markets while expanding into adjacent segments
- Build durable, recurring revenue streams in newer parts of the business
- Identify and build new sources of revenue beyond the company's traditional base, extending its commercial reach into new markets and buyer groups
Capital Discipline and Long-Term Value
- Set the multi-year vision for the business and translate it into priorities the organization can act on with confidence
- Allocate investment dollars toward the initiatives and people that generate the strongest returns, and evaluate acquisitions where they make strategic sense
- Act as the connective tissue between different investor groups, each with a different appetite for risk and pace of return, balancing steady growth priorities against a push for faster value creation
- Manage financing relationships and reporting with the transparency and rigor that give lenders and investors confidence in the business
Running the Operating Engine
- Take ownership of streamlining and modernizing how the company runs to unlock greater efficiency and collaboration
- Continue investing in the capabilities that help win complex, demanding customer programs
- Run day-to-day operations with the kind of consistency that gives outside stakeholders, from customers to financing partners, confidence in where the business is headed
- Keep the organization and the board in the loop through candid, consistent communication that builds trust at every level
Building the Leadership Bench
- Bring rigor to evaluating the current executive team against where the business needs to go, and drive alignment and performance improvements across key leaders
- Build a collaborative, high-performing culture as a visible, hands-on, full-time leader
- Champion an inclusive, team-first environment that reflects how the company operates day to day
Qualifications & Experience
- Hands-on CEO or senior operating experience leading a similarly structured business, equally credible with front-line teams and in the boardroom
- History of growing enterprise value through market expansion, strategic partnerships, and well-executed acquisitions
- Success scaling an operating business against ambitious growth and margin goals
- Deep customer-facing experience building senior relationships with large enterprise accounts
- Comfortable partnering with a board representing multiple investor constituencies to shape strategy and strengthen governance
- Fluency with debt covenants, financing structures, and the expectations of banks, lenders, and outside capital partners
- Experience overseeing a multi-site or international operating footprint
- 10+ years of senior leadership experience in a comparable operating environment
- Low-ego, hands-on operating style, comfortable being a full-time, present leader rather than a remote executive
- Based in or willing to relocate to the Northeast
