Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Texas is seeking a Project Engineer Senior (Level 3) to support the Dallas Production Engineering team in Munitions Acceleration efforts for the Mechanical shop. The role blends project management with hands-on manufacturing knowledge to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to performance standards.

The ideal candidate leads cross-functional projects, analyzes capacity and tooling needs, and communicates status to senior leadership while balancing work-life balance

Qualifications

• Lead multi-disciplinary projects using formal PM tools.
• Excellent oral and written communication; compile executive status reports.
• Ability to obtain a secret clearance.
• Experience in manufacturing engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Drive munitions accelerations and make-where transitions for hardware and tooling.
• Lead capacity-expansion initiatives to meet program surge demands.
• Coordinate with program/site stakeholders on execution.
• Help manage tooling needs in support of program ramps.
• Strategically work with Industrial Engineering group for shop capacity models and simulations.
• Produce executive-level status reports for senior leadership.
