Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Tempe, AZ seeks an experienced Systems or Product Engineer to serve as Functional Chief for Electromechanical Dynamics and Control. You will drive technical excellence and collaborate across Honeywell Aero SBUs on a hybrid schedule from Tempe.

You will report to the Sr. Director of Engineering, Assure, and oversee modeling, design reviews, root-cause investigations, and cross-functional teamwork to advance motion control systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; Master/PhD preferred.
• 12+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Experience with electromechanical dynamic modeling and control is valued.

Responsibilities

• Develop, own and maintain design guidelines for electromechanical systems in motion controls.
• Model dynamics and control, including actuators, motor drives and EMC considerations.
• Chair design reviews for dynamics and control with cross‑functional chiefs.
• Support program execution and investigate root cause / corrective actions.
• Contribute to Motion Control Systems capability through process improvements and mentoring.
