The Head of Business Data at Truist is the executive leader for the TD&O data and its use across the unit, owning governance, quality, lineage, and analytics. This senior role drives data strategy, modernization, and AI-enabled insights, with accountability for data ownership, stewardship, and enterprise alignment.

Formación

• Undergraduate degree in computer science, information systems, analytics, data engineering, finance or equivalent.
• Fifteen years of data management experience inclusive of driving enterprise data strategy, data execution, data engineering or software delivery.
• Expert problem solving skills and being able to define detailed strategies.
• Experience in financial services or payments industry.
• Experience in meeting regulatory obligations and operating in a highly regulatory environment.
• Experience partnering with C-Level executives to accomplish business objectives.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute the business unit/corporate functions (BU/CF) data & analytics strategy and roadmap.
• Partner across C-Level executive business leaders to transform the business through data-driven decision-making.
• Coordinate with the Chief Data Governance Officer to align BU/CF roadmap to governance priorities.
• Provide regular updates to C-Level BU/CF executives and committees regarding progress and data risk.
• Drive accountability for data ownership and sound data management practices.
• Own and maintain the BU/CF inventory of data critical processes and data elements.
• Oversee data stewards and implement governance across data critical processes.
• Oversee enterprise data strategy deployment, modernization, AI enablement and data consumption.
• Manage and execute innovation across analytics, data science, reporting and modeling.
• Partner to define target state tools, solutions, and capabilities for business strategy.
• Collaborate across Truist to align data strategy with best-in-class practices.
