Job summary

Truist seeks a senior risk leader to oversee data risk within the Enterprise Data Office, focusing on governance of data platforms, AI use cases, and regulatory alignment. You will drive credible risk assessment, challenge, and strategy across business units and corporate functions.

You will influence governance enhancements, partner with data stewards, and elevate the EDRO team’s technical fluency to ensure robust risk controls and effective risk advisory practices across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Senior risk technologist with deep data platforms, architecture, and AI/applications knowledge.
• Experience leading risk evaluation of complex tech-driven data environments and AI use cases.
• Ability to translate emerging tech risks into governance and oversight strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk advisory, challenge, and independent risk assessment for EDRO coverage and operating model.
• Contribute to Enterprise Data Management Policy, Data Risk Policy, and related standards.
• Engage senior partners to communicate EDRO requirements and drive alignment on goals and objectives.
• Provide effective challenge on data risk processes and control effectiveness across platforms, AI solutions, and data supply chains.
• Support regulatory planning and remediation efforts with senior leaders.
