Truist is seeking the Head of Business Data to lead the TD&O data organization, ensuring data quality from source to consumption and guiding governance, management, reporting, and analytics across the business unit. You will partner with CDOs, drive AI-ready data strategies, and oversee a team of 50–200, shaping enterprise data strategy and modernization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, analytics, data engineering, finance or equivalent.
• Fifteen years of data management experience including enterprise data strategy and data engineering.
• Expert problem solving and ability to define detailed strategies.
• Experience in financial services or payments industry.
• Experience with regulatory obligations and operating in a regulated environment.
• Experience partnering with C-Level executives to accomplish business objectives.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute the data & analytics strategy and roadmap for the BU/CF in partnership with senior leaders.
• Transform business through data-driven decision-making and enable analytics to re-engineer processes.
• Align data governance priorities with risk, regulatory commitments, and enterprise policies.
• Provide regular updates to executive committees on progress and data risk.
• Own data ownership and sound data management practices across the organization.
• Maintain inventory of data-critical processes and ensure governance adherence.
