Job summary

Carter's is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Sunbury, OH to lead a dynamic store team and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will coach sales associates, drive product knowledge, and ensure a welcoming environment aligned with our brand.

You will partner with the Store Manager on staffing, training, and KPI execution, while upholding merchandising standards and inclusive leadership across the store.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of retail or related management experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Lift 40 pounds as needed and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Provide availability including days, nights, weekends and holidays; at least two closing shifts per week.

Responsibilities

• Execute workforce management to focus on customer service on the sales floor.
• Welcome customers and provide assistance with product styles and benefits.
• Coach team to maintain service standards and omnichannel execution.
• Analyze business performance and communicate KPIs with the team.
• Assist Store Manager with recruiting, training, and development.
• Plan merchandising, promotions, and product placement; help reduce loss.
