Job summary

Vibra Hospital of Northern California in Redding, CA, seeks an experienced Nursing Manager to lead nursing and clinical services in a 50-bed facility. This leadership role focuses on patient-care excellence, staffing, and program development within a fast-paced hospital environment.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN, a master's degree in health administration or related field, and at least 5 years of nursing management experience with active RN licensure and Vibra-approved BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Master’s Degree in Health Administration, Nursing or related field.
• Five years of experience in a Nursing Management position supervising patient care.
• Current, valid RN license in the state of employment.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from a Vibra-approved vendor.
• Valid driver’s license may be required for work at multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Direct and facilitate the activities of nursing and clinical services, taking an active leadership role in decisions.
• Ensure competence of clinical staff and appropriate staffing for patient care.
• Develop hospital-wide systems, policies, and procedures to meet patient-care needs.
• Oversee staffing plans and departmental budgets and monitor resource use.
• Monitor care quality and patient outcomes; address patient-care needs with physicians.
• Promote the facility through involvement in internal and external healthcare activities.
