AIOS is a fully remote, fast-growing company redefining healthcare with AI. As Head of AI Engineering, you will shape the AIOS Agent SDK, powering Jesse, Aegis, and future agents across the platform.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering with production contributions.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/ML or related field.
• Built and shipped agentic systems that reason across steps and use tools.

Responsibilities

• Own Agent SDK architecture, primitives, and integration points.
• Be the senior owner of Jesse and Aegis with cross‑team collaboration.
• Create trustworthy benchmarks and production evaluation workflows.
• Improve production learning loop with real‑world data and feedback.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and robust security in the platform.
• Lead model selection, routing, and deployment of open‑weight models.
• Maintain and improve the shared runtime, observability, and incident response.
• Grow the Applied AI team and manage relationships with model providers.
