Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in backend or distributed systems.
• Experience at Staff or Principal Engineer level with impact.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or TypeScript.
• Experience building developer platforms, SDKs, or API-first products.
• Experience with modern AI systems including LLMs, tool calling, or agentic workflows.
• Strong systems thinking and ability to simplify complex problems.
• Proven track record leading technical strategy while remaining hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Architect the core platform powering AI agents in production.
• Design distributed systems for orchestration, memory, tool calling, workflows, and communication.
• Build reliable infrastructure for safe and efficient enterprise operation.
• Lead the technical design of platform capabilities balancing performance, reliability, and developer experience.
• Drive architecture decisions across backend systems, APIs, infra, and AI runtime services.
• Establish scalability, observability, security, and operational excellence.
• Partner with product and engineering leadership to translate emerging AI capabilities into production-ready features.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews and hands-on collaboration.
• Lead complex cross-functional initiatives from concept through production.
