You will work alongside a manager to coordinate and lead operations, oversee staff, collaborate with teammates, and assist where needed. Job Responsibilities

1. Produce and maintain work schedules; prepare production packets, including production sheets and recipes.
2. Direct daily activities of the food service team.
3. Maintain food safety and quality according to policies, procedures, and department requirements.
4. Ensure proper storage of food items in a safe, organized, and hazard-free environment.
5. Follow serving schedules; ensure food items are served according to menu specifications safely and appropriately.
6. Maintain a sanitary environment complying with health and safety codes.
7. Keep accurate inventory records weekly.
8. Prepare orders as needed to ensure accurate production levels.
9. Supervise, evaluate, and counsel employees; promote growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork.
10. Maintain a safe working environment.
11. Train and mentor other food service workers.
12. Keep logs on equipment maintenance and food safety/temperature logs with corrective actions when necessary.
13. Perform preventative maintenance and recommend equipment replacements.
14. Multitask proficiently.
15. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Food Service Director or Manager.
16. Fill in for absent employees as needed.
17. Coordinate with staff on daily catering events to ensure timely preparation and delivery.
18. Work occasional night and weekend catering events.
19. Attend staff meetings and maintain communication via various channels.
20. Perform cashier duties if necessary.
21. Promote positive public relations.
