Happy Camper in Chicago seeks a Front of House Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, with hours from 9:00 am to 4:00 am (Mon–Sun) and additional hours as needed. The candidate should have an entrepreneurial spirit, be a self-starter, and contribute to the growth and success of the company.

A successful candidate will take on a key leadership role in a fast‑paced hospitality company, with opportunities for growth and a performance‑based bonus.

Qualifications

• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service focus.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Decision making and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift trays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in hiring and training staff.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and resolve conflicts and complaints as they arise.
• Contribute to the positive company culture and cultivate regulars.
• Communicate with HR and accounting regarding invoicing and payroll.
• Double check all orders that come in.
• Proficiency in Toast POS and OpenTable.
• Manage menus in house and through delivery; oversee deliveries (DoorDash/UberEats/Grubhub).
• Oversee HotSchedules scheduling and adjust staff coverage as needed.
• Handle discipline and terminations per restaurant policy.
• Perform daily health inspections and ensure food safety standards.
• Monitor liquor, beer and wine inventory; coordinate with BOH for purchases.
