FirstService Residential in Chicago is seeking a Community Association Manager - Portfolio to lead boards, manage community operations, and supervise staff across a portfolio of associations in the city.

You will develop goals with the Board, oversee budgeting and funds, and ensure compliance with governing documents and condo acts while maintaining service excellence with residents and vendors.

Formación

• Active Community Association Manager license in Illinois.
• Understanding of building management, condominium law, financial planning and property-management law.
• Proven ability to work with coworkers, clients, and others to find practical solutions.
• Budgetary knowledge for executing community programs and shared initiatives.
• High energy and ability to multi-task and prioritize projects.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Portfolio management experience or equivalent preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop recommendations for community goals and lead action plans to achieve Board objectives.
• Provide leadership to ensure residents' needs are addressed.
• Cultivate relationships with Board members through regular, systematic communication via in-person, email, and phone.
• Create and implement the annual working budget; monitor and report on financial position monthly.
• Ensure due diligence for protection of client funds, property, and assets against contingencies or losses.
• Provide leadership at Board meetings with agenda support and reports; summarize priorities and follow up.
• Maintain service excellence in interactions with residents, vendors, staff, and colleagues and enforce governing documents.
• Assess community needs and identify opportunities to improve service delivery; collaborate with external vendors to implement programs.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise all community staff per management plan; evaluate support efficiency.
• Coordinate with local emergency organizations to maintain evacuation plans as appropriate.
• Comply with Illinois Condo Act and FirstService Residential policies; address regulatory violations.
