Job summary

MERIEUX NUTRISCIENCES Crete Analytical Laboratory in Crete, IL is seeking a Chemist 2. The incumbent will perform chemical analysis on food or pharmaceutical samples, preparing and processing samples to obtain results. You'll monitor daily activities, ensure analyses follow methods, and report results to clients.

This position uses instruments including HPLC, GC, and ICPMS. Benefits include medical, PTO, 401(k).

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Two to five years of experience in a lab setting.
• Experience with HPLC, GC, and AA instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical analysis on food or pharmaceutical samples.
• Prepare samples, standards and reagents; ensure data meets method requirements.
• Operate instruments (HPLC, GC, ICPMS, ICP) and analyze results.
• Maintain instruments and troubleshoot issues.
• Record data in LIMS and comply with quality systems.
