Job summary

MERIEUX NUTRISCIENCES Crete Analytical Laboratory in Crete, IL is seeking a Chemist I to perform chemical analyses on food/pharmaceutical samples and prepare standards and reagents. You will maintain QC records and operate the LIMS while following safety policies.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; Bachelor’s preferred for chemistry roles.
• Knowledge of instrumentation including HPLC, GC, ICP and AA is helpful.
• 1–2 years of general chemistry testing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical analysis on food/pharma samples.
• Prepare samples, standards, and reagents for analyses.
• Maintain laboratory records and QC procedures.
• Operate LIMS and ensure proper data entry.
• Adhere to safety policies and housekeeping schedule.
