Job summary

MERIEUX NUTRISCIENCES Crete Analytial Laboratory in Crete, IL, seeks a Chemist I to perform chemical analyses on food/pharmaceutical samples and prepare materials for testing. You will support laboratory operations, maintain equipment records, and help ensure data quality and safety.

The role requires 1–2 years in chemistry, familiarity with HPLC/GC/ICP/AA, and some experience with LIMS. Associates degree is required; a Bachelor’s is preferred.

Qualifications

• One–two years of experience in chemistry.
• Basic knowledge of chemistry to perform analyses and process client data.
• Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and data systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical analysis on food/pharmaceutical samples.
• Prepare samples and reagents for analysis procedures.
• Maintain LIMS and equipment records; ensure quality control.
