Job summary

Skypace is seeking an experienced individual to lead the senior commercial coverage of its Chemicals ocean import portfolio through Southeast and West Coast gateways railed inland to Memphis and Nashville. The ideal candidate will possess over 7 years of experience in ocean freight sales and a mature portfolio with a considerable share of gross profit.

This role offers uncapped commissions based on gross profit, mentorship opportunities, and engagement in strategic account development.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of ocean freight sales in the mid-South market with portfolio leadership across chemicals import.
• A mature book with a meaningful share of annual gross profit from long-owned accounts.
• Fluency in IMDG and hazmat documentation and customs valuation defense.

Responsibilities

• Lead senior commercial coverage of the Tennessee Chemicals portfolio.
• Manage the transition of a mature book under a co-designed 90-day plan.
• Expand the book through strategic Mid-Atlantic account development.
