Chemours in Fayetteville, NC is hiring a Chemical Process Engineer to join the Fluoromonomers team. The role provides technical support to maintain production performance, lead safety analyses, and drive process improvements from daily gains to major technology changes.

You will own process safety activities, manage MOC, PHA, PSSR, and work with operations to optimize yield, energy efficiency, and reliability. A chemical engineering degree and strong troubleshooting skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from ABET-accredited school.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and solve problems.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple, complex, time-sensitive projects.
• Team-oriented with initiative and safety-conscious mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to maintain production performance.
• Lead process safety analyses (PSM) and MOC activities.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and standards.
• Design and evaluate plant trials and process tests.
• Support process control improvements and data analytics.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance and reliability teams.
