Job summary

The Chemours Company is seeking a Process Engineer for the Fayetteville Works site in Fayetteville, NC. You will provide process engineering support to Nafion IXM unit operations and collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Technology teams to troubleshoot, optimize safety, quality, yield, and uptime.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering required.
• Experience in chemical/industrial continuous‑process manufacturing environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and improve safety, reliability, quality, yield, or cost.

Responsibilities

• Provide process engineering support for Nafion IXM unit operations.
• Provide engineering expertise for project work per specs and standards.
• Lead changes to improve process safety, product quality, environmental performance, and costs.
• Troubleshoot with Operations and Maintenance and train plant personnel.
• Drive process, quality, yield, reliability, capacity, and cost improvements.
• Participate in Process Safety Management activities including PHA and incident investigations.
• Plan/manufacture trials for new products and continuous improvement, with documentation.
