Job summary

Chemours is seeking a Process Engineer at the Fayetteville Works site in Fayetteville, NC, reporting to the Nafion Manufacturing Technology Manager. The role focuses on assisting operations, optimizing processes, and advancing safety, quality, yield, and cost improvements in a continuous chemical manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Relevant process/manufacturing engineering experience in chemical or continuous-process environments.
• Ability to apply engineering fundamentals to troubleshoot manufacturing problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide process engineering support for Nafion IXM manufacturing unit operations.
• Lead process safety and risk assessments (PHA) and incident investigations.
• Drive process improvements in safety, product quality, yield, reliability, and cost.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and train plant personnel.
• Plan and execute manufacturing trials for new products and continuous improvement.
