Job summary

ATI Specialty Alloys & Components in Millersburg, Oregon seeks a Production Supervisor for Chemical Operations to lead up to 20 direct reports, drive safety and quality, and optimize throughput. The role requires coordinating with cross-functional teams, including unionized staff, and implementing process improvements to meet production goals.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of supervisory experience, a STEM degree preferred, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering/Manufacturing or related field preferred.
• Union environment supervisory experience is highly preferred.
• Full Face Respiratory protection may be required.
• Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to drive lean improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of up to 20 direct reports in production areas.
• Coach, motivate and train personnel for safe and efficient operations.
• Plan and direct department activities to achieve safety and efficiency goals.
• Identify problems and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Enforce policies and labor agreement provisions; apply standardization.
• Coordinate training to ensure tasks follow standard work and instructions.
