Job summary

ATI Specialty Alloys & Components is seeking a Production Supervisor for our Millersburg, Oregon facility. You will lead a team of up to 20 direct reports, drive safety and quality, and collaborate with engineering, quality, and union leadership to optimize throughput and meet production goals.

The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and Lean manufacturing experience, with a preference for union supervision and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business or related field preferred.
• Supervisory experience in a union environment is highly preferred.
• Full Face Respiratory may be required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with LEAN manufacturing practices and continuous improvement concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of up to 20 direct reports with diverse personalities.
• Plan and direct department activities to obtain safe and efficient operations.
• Apply leadership to train and motivate personnel.
• Monitor processes to identify problems and improvement opportunities.
• Identify, plan and lead improvement events.
• Enforce policies while maintaining the labor agreement.
• Apply standardization processes and update documents as needed.
• Establish production management systems to sustain goals with minimal intervention.
• Coordinate training to ensure tasks meet standard work and work instructions.
• Ensure adherence to internal and external customer requirements and schedules.
