Dow Inc. is seeking a Chemical Processing Operator for Alberta Operations in Fort Saskatchewan, Canada. You will monitor and optimize plant performance across hydrocarbon and polyethylene units, performing field checks and safe operational controls.

The role emphasizes safety, environmental responsibility, and teamwork, with opportunities for certification Progression and training within a structured Dow environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Progress toward ABSA 4th Class certification (or higher).
• Valid Canadian driver's license.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada (no visa sponsorship available).

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize plant operations.
• Operate equipment and adjust control systems as needed.
• Perform field checks, isolate and prepare equipment for maintenance.
• Follow Life Critical Standards to ensure safety and reliability.
• Participate in Emergency Response Brigade training, including fire and rope rescue.
• Contribute to plant commissioning and teamwork.
