Job summary

Dow invites applications for a Process Control Operator role at our Alberta Operations in Fort Saskatchewan, Canada. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize plant equipment while operating process controls and upholding safety and environmental standards.

Operators may be assigned to Hydrocarbons, Solution Polyethylene, Gas Phase Polyethylene, or Power and Utilities, with opportunities to pursue 3rd and 2nd Class certifications and participate in a comprehensive 3-year training program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Progress towards ABSA 4th Class Power Engineering certification.
• Valid Canadian Driver's License.
• Ability to legally work in Canada.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize plant equipment and systems.
• Operate and adjust process controls to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct field checks, equipment maintenance, and system adjustments.
• Uphold Dow's Life Critical Standards for safe operations.
• Support plant commissioning and participate in advanced training programs.

Education
