Dow Inc. has an exciting Operator role in Orange, Texas, within Sabine River Operations. You will responsibly operate plant equipment, monitor performance, and work with a shift team to maintain safe, reliable production.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 2+ years in chemical operations, or 3+ years of relevant military experience in lieu of a degree. A 12-hour shift, overtime, and valid US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 2+ years in chemical operations.
• Military experience 3+ years can substitute for a degree.
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts, overtime, holidays and weekends.
• Must have valid US driver's license and be legally eligible to work in the US.

Responsabilités

• Follow operating discipline policies to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Operate process equipment, monitor conditions and adjust to goals.
• Serve on-site Emergency Response Team and complete required training.
• Conduct shift relief and handoffs to the arriving shift.
• Identify improvements using facility processes and change management.
• Maintain qualifications and complete training on time.
• Mentor and train staff on operation and troubleshooting.
• Perform routine and non-routine tasks as needed.
• Respond to immediate/severe weather events as assigned.
