Job summary

Dow Inc. has an exciting opportunity for an Operator in Orange, Texas within Sabine River Operations. You will operate plant processes safely, monitor equipment, and work with the shift team to prevent unplanned events while escalating issues when needed.

The role emphasizes operating discipline, hands-on process knowledge, and participation in emergency response training to support reliable plant performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience in an Operations role within a chemical manufacturing environment or 3+ years military experience in lieu of a degree.
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts and overtime, including holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Follow operating discipline to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation of assigned plant areas.
• Operate process equipment by monitoring conditions and control systems to maintain desired rates and conditions.
• Serve on-site Emergency Response Team (ERT) and complete required training.
• Mentor and train operations personnel on process operation and troubleshooting.
