Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2+ years in an Operations role within a Chemical Manufacturing environment or 3+ years of relevant military experience.
• Associate degree or higher in Process Plant Technology or related field preferred.
• Must be able to work a 12-hour shift and overtime, including holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Follow operating discipline policies to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of assigned plant areas.
• Operate process equipment by monitoring conditions and control systems to meet plant goals.
• Serve on-site Emergency Response Team (ERT) and complete required training (Fire, HazMat, Medical, etc).
• Conduct effective shift relief and handoffs to incoming shift team.
• Use process knowledge to identify improvements and drive plant performance.
• Maintain qualifications and complete training goals in a timely manner.
• Mentor and train operations personnel on process operation and troubleshooting.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled operational tasks arising from events.
• Execute Immediate/Severe Weather Response activities as assigned.
