Dow Inc. is seeking an Operator for the Orange, Texas Sabine River Operations area. You will operate plant equipment safely, monitor performance, and work with the shift team to resolve issues while escalating complex problems.

The role requires a strong operations background in chemical manufacturing and the ability to work extended 12-hour shifts with overtime as needed. Preferred candidates hold a related degree or military experience, possess a valid US driver’s license, and are legally

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in an Operations role in chemical manufacturing.
• Military experience (3+ years) considered in lieu of degree.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts with overtime including holidays and weekends.
• Valid US driver's license required.
• Authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Aufgaben

• Follow Operating Discipline policies to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Operate process equipment and monitor process conditions and control systems.
• Serve on site Emergency Response Team (ERT) and attend required training.
• Conduct shift relief and handoffs to arriving teams.
• Identify improvements using facility processes and management of change tools.
• Maintain qualifications and training goals in a timely manner.
• Mentor and train new and existing operations personnel.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled tasks arising from events.
• Respond to Immediate/Severe Weather events as assigned.
