PPG is seeking a Chemical Operator in Atlanta, GA to support production by preparing and delivering chemicals, following precise formulations, and maintaining equipment. The role directly impacts product quality and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The candidate will work in first shift, with responsibilities including set-up, mixing, waste handling, basic equipment maintenance and adherence to safety and HazCom requirements.

Qualificações

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
• Must be certified or able to pass a medical test for respirator use.
• Must pass a basic math test.
• Able to obtain forklift certification.
• Experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Set up, fill, mix and/or deliver production chemicals in a process area with critical composition.
• Read and follow written and verbal work order instructions after training.
• Dispose of waste chemicals, solvents and acids per Haz Com training guidelines.
• Perform basic TPM maintenance on production equipment and clean pots and tanks.
