Job summary

Olin is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety Engineer Co-Op for Spring 2027 in Freeport, TX. The position pays $30.00 per hour and offers a housing stipend.

The role supports development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS and process safety initiatives across manufacturing and operations. You will lead at least three hands-on projects, collect and analyze EHS data, and help implement safety programs.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate Environmental or Chemical Engineering degree program.
• Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale; official transcript required each term.
• Sophomore year completed (60 credits) prior to first rotation.
• Full-time availability during rotation (40 hours/week); not eligible for virtual work.
• Must obtain a TWIC and possess a valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead a minimum of three hands-on projects throughout the term.
• Assist with collecting, analyzing, and reporting EHS data.
• Assist with implementing and maintaining EHS programs and policies.
• Collaborate with employees and supervisors to promote safety and environmental responsibility.
