DIG INN Restaurant Teams is seeking a Chef-in-Training in Boston, MA. Salary ranges from $16 to $18 per hour, plus $2-3 per hour in tips and additional benefits.

This role focuses on teaching you culinary fundamentals, leadership development, and working across DIG’s scratch-based kitchen to deliver high-quality meals. You will rotate through garde manger, grill, roast, market line, guest concierge and delivery/packout stations while supporting the team during busy service periods.

Responsabilités

• Prep, mix, and cook vegetables, proteins, grains using recipes as a guide.
• Gain exposure to garde manger, grill, roast, market line, guest concierge and delivery/packout.
• Speak to current menu offerings, seasonality, and ingredients with guests to provide a scratch-made meal.
• Support the team during peak and off-peak service.
• Multi-task and move in the kitchen for extended periods.
• Follow DIG food safety standards and uphold anti-discrimination policies.
• Contribute to building a bigger mission to rebuild the food system.
