Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead production teams on assigned shifts, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in a 340,000 sq ft facility.

You will plan, direct, and monitor work, coordinate schedules, and report production results. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years supervisory experience in food packaging, an associate degree in operations management or equivalent, and experience with SAP ERP, GMP, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• One to three years of supervisory experience in a food packaging environment.
• An Associate’s degree in Operations Management, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Experience leading and following Safety/Security Policies and Procedures.
• Proficient with ERP SAP and MS Office.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Have good organizational skills with ability to prioritize and pay attention to the details.
• Strong team player and leader with ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines.
• Ability to select, lead, coach, influence, motivate, develop, engage, and retain a team of employees.
• Ability to understand cost containment and budgetary principles.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends in support of plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Assign, direct, review, and monitor work to maximize productivity.
• Ensure procedures for production efficiency, quality, employee safety, and guidelines.
• Inspect products and adjust machines to conform to specs.
• Coordinate production schedules and labor requirements for runs.
• Analyze root causes and apply preventive measures with CI methods.
• Maintain production records and reports including OEE and downtime.
• Train employees and monitor performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to meet performance objectives.
• Support HR in disciplinary actions and policy enforcement.
