Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. in Georgia is seeking a Production Supervisor to directly supervise production employees on assigned shifts, plan and direct work, and ensure adherence to policies and regulations.

You will partner with plant management to maximize productivity and quality while maintaining safety. The role requires an Associate’s degree in Operations Management or equivalent, 1–3 years’ supervisory experience in food packaging, and proficiency with GMPs and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Operations Management or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years supervisory experience in a food packaging environment preferred.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Experience following Safety/Security Policies and Procedures.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to organize, prioritize tasks and manage multiple functions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production employees to maximize productivity on assigned shifts.
• Plan, assign and direct work; address product and employee concerns.
• Ensure procedures for production efficiency, quality and safety are followed.
• Coordinate production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements.
• Train employees on job and safety procedures and monitor performance.
• Maintain production records and support disciplinary actions when needed.
