Job summary

BBA Afterschool Inc. is seeking energetic After-School Coaches to teach Cheer and Dance to elementary students in Prince William County, VA.

This part-time, after-school role runs Monday through Friday, with 1.5-hour sessions between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM, and curriculum and equipment are provided. You will gain hands-on experience with young learners, build leadership, communication, and classroom management skills, and enjoy a flexible afternoon schedule with opportunities for advancement within

Qualifications

• Experience in Cheer/Dance, gymnastics, or related activity preferred.
• Comfortable with elementary students (K–5).
• Reliable transportation to schools throughout Alexandria.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Must complete school district background check and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Teach Cheer/Dance to elementary students.
• Follow BBA's structured curriculum and lesson plans.
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment.
• Supervise groups of approximately 15 to 25 students.
• Encourage confidence, teamwork, physical activity, and participation.
