Job summary

BBA Afterschool Inc is hiring energetic and reliable Cheer/Dance coaches to teach elementary students in after-school enrichment programs in Alexandria, VA. This part-time, after-school role offers 1.5-hour sessions from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with no lesson planning required and curriculum and equipment provided.

Ideal candidates are students studying Physical Education, Kinesiology, Dance, or related fields and seek hands-on experience in education, coaching, youth

Qualifications

• Experience in Cheer/Dance or related activity preferred.
• Comfortable working with elementary students in grades K-5.
• Reliable transportation to schools throughout Alexandria.

Responsibilities

• Teach elementary students Cheer/Dance activities.
• Follow BBA's structured curriculum and lesson plans.
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment.
• Supervise groups of approximately 15 to 25 students.
• Encourage confidence, teamwork, physical activity, and participation.
• Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership.
