Safeway in Arlington, VA is seeking a Front-End Team Member to create a smooth checkout experience for customers. You will be the final stop before customers head home, helping complete purchases accurately while keeping interactions friendly and efficient.

Responsibilities include scanning items, bagging groceries, answering questions, restocking, and maintaining a clean, organized front-end area. Flexibility with early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is valued.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ (or 18+ depending on local/state requirements)
• Completion of company cashier or front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required
