Job summary

Safeway is seeking a Front-End Team Member to deliver a smooth, friendly checkout experience and help customers complete their purchases efficiently. You’ll scan items, bag groceries, and respond to questions while keeping the front-end area organized and stocked.

You will rotate through tasks like handling transactions, restocking supplies, collecting carts, and maintaining the checkout area in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Customer interaction and clear communication during checkout.
• Accurate transaction processing across cash, card, and digital payments.
• Attention to detail for pricing, scanning, and order completion.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
