Job summary

Assurant is seeking a Shared Services Specialist to support printing, balancing, reconciliation, and quality review of hazard, claims, and loss draft checks. You will ensure accuracy, maintain records, and prepare reports while following procedures and controls.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, basic computer knowledge, and proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm EST, with opportunities to handle

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year processing experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Print hazard, claims, and loss draft checks for clients per schedules.
• Review and validate check production files prior to processing.
• Balance and reconcile daily check files to ensure accuracy.
• Verify check totals, sequence numbers, and payment information before release.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to check printing, balancing, or reporting.
• Maintain records of printed checks and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and client requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments to meet production deadlines.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation reports.
• Assist with quality control reviews to ensure document accuracy.
