Job summary

Relocity is seeking a Relocation Consultant (1099 Contractor) to provide high-touch relocation services to employees and their families as they move to new cities. You will serve as a trusted local resource, guiding housing, neighborhoods, schools, and lifestyle choices to ensure a smooth transition.

This role is delivered through a mix of remote and in-person engagements within your local area, with success built on strong local knowledge, consultative mindset, and the ability to manage

Qualifications

• Must have legal right to work in the United States.
• Must have at least 5 years of residency in Charlotte with knowledge of rental market and local processes.
• Own a reliable vehicle with valid driver’s license for area tours and searches.
• Available to work weekends.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-touch relocation services to employees and families as they transition to a new city.
• Act as a knowledgeable local resource and provide tailored guidance.
• Coordinate housing, schools, neighborhoods, and lifestyle research.
• Conduct area tours (virtual or in-person) and support relocation logistics.
• Communicate with clients via phone, email, video, or in person.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers to support the client experience.
• Manage multiple client engagements independently and maintain documentation for continuity.
